Bios & Head Shots
It is time to have the actors write their bios. Bios should be one paragraph and written in third person. Here are some questions your actor can answer to help them get started on writing their bio: 1. What other plays have you been in? 2. What are some of your favorite past roles? 3. What do you like best about being in this production? 4. What is your favorite thing about acting? 5. In addition to acting, what other activities do you do? 6. Who has influenced you most in your acting and why? 5. Is there anything else that you would like others to know about you? Please send the bios to the bio email addressseussicalbios@yahoo.com no later than March 6.
If your actor did not take a headshot on Sunday, please bring a 4 x 6 black and white portrait to rehearsal. We need to collect all photos by March 6. The head shot needs to be 4” length and 6” high.
Ads
This is the last weekend to put an ad in the program. Approximately 2000 people see the program during the run of the show. You can bring a business card or email the ad by February 27. The ad must either be ready to scan or ready to download. You can email an electronic copy of the ad tobayareaetc@yahoo.com
Volunteer Hours
I would like to find out how many volunteer hours each family has done this far. Please emailbayareaetc@yahoo.com with the following information: family name, number of hours completed so far, what you did to complete those hours, and if 0 hours, where do you plan to complete your hours in the future. Please email the information by Tuesday, February 23.
Nitty Gritty Day – February 28, 2010
Sunday, February 28 from 1pm-5pm is our 2nd Nitty Gritty Day. This is the day for all families to come to the warehouse and work on projects for the show. Be sure to sign in to get credit!
Some things to remember: wear appropriate shoes for working in the warehouse. closed-toe, no heels, sandals, flip-flops. even in the costume/prop area!! We need brushes, and need folks to bring tools, especially cordless drills with screw bits. Wear clothes that can get dirty or painted. We will also be making costumes, finding props for the show, bundling flyers for school backpacks and more.
