Neverland News – February 13, 2008

What a great first week of rehearsal! Watching the actors play theater games and bond with each other was a wonderful sight to see – especially the evolution game! We got some great photos of that one! And how fun is Katie’s warm up dance. That song will be in your head for the next four months!

So on to the news…

Rehearsal Expectation Reminder
In order for rehearsals to run smoothly and the actors to get the most out of rehearsal, anyone who has long hair must pull it back in a ponytail or clips and away from their face.

It is also important that actors wear closed toed shoes that are comfortable to dance in. This means no sandals, flip flops or crocs! They should also wear clothing that is easy to move in. And remember girls, no bra straps or belly buttons showing.

Also, actors need to remember their scripts and a pencil each week.

Costume Measurement Forms
A good number of Costume Measurement Forms were turned in this weekend, but we are still missing some. Please be sure to bring those to the next regular rehearsal on February 23. You can download the form in the forms section of the website, http://www.bayareae tc.org/forms/ CostumeMeasureme ntForm.pdf.

Fundraiser Dinner
Due to the overwhelming response for the dinner, the deadline has been extended. If you still wish to attend the dinner and/or movie night on March 8, you can RSVP through the website Pay Pal link at http://www.bayareaetc.org/fundraising.html

Ticket Pre-Sale Incentive
As you all know, e.T.c. offers ticket incentives for family ticket sales. If a family sells 100 or more tickets, they receive a free registration for the next mainstage show they participate in. If a family sells 50 or more tickets, they receive a $50 discount on the next mainstage show they participate in.

But there’s more…

There is a new incentive…
The
individual who sells the third most tickets will receive a Candy Basket
The
individual who sells the second most tickets will receive a Movie Basket
And – for the grand prize
The
individual who sells the most tickets will get a private flying session! (This reward can be given as a gift to anyone in the cast in the event that the actor who wins is flying in the show and does not feel the need to have a private session.)

Deadline for the pre-sale competition is April 21.
(And in case you are wondering – a Proud Parent Pass counts towards 5 tickets)

Cast Roster
There have been many requests from parents for a cast roster with names, addresses, phone numbers etc, for carpooling purposes. If you would not like to be listed on this roster, please let me know by Friday, February 15.
