Load In & Final Set Construction
Set Construction needs your help to finish the amazing set pieces and scenery. We will be working on Saturday from 11-3:30 at the eTc warehouse.
This Sunday is Load-In day. The day when we move all the wonderful set pieces to the theater at Cañada. It is an all-day event, so it brings us a different schedule. We have use of the theater space from 10-6, so we work around that. 8:00 am - meet at eTc warehouse to load the truck9:45 am - depart for Cañada Main Theater (time approximate)10 am - 6 pm - unload truck, assemble pieces, hang flying set pieces, attach skirts to decks and various other tasks. You may come for all of the day, or join us for a portion of it - as your schedule allows. Most actors will have a full rehearsal day (typically 1-6). We will be using screw guns and staple guns - bring them if you have them! Please join us!! Next Saturday is our very last chance to finish the smaller pieces. We are loading-in one week early due to theater availability, but we still have work to do. Please plan to join us October 30 at the warehouse (regular schedule: Sat. 11-3:30).

Make left at light which is Industrial
Make a left onto E. San Carlos Ave. the warehouse is towards the back to the right. The large roll up door will be open.

Posters
Show posters will be available at pick-up on Saturday, October 23rd. If you haven't already picked up a few to hang in your community, please see Dwayne and get some. Help get the word out on our great show!
Business Cards
Each family received a stack of business cards with the performance information in their folder last week. Actors can use these to tell their friends and families about the show.
Flyers
Show flyers will also be available at pick up on Saturday for any families in private schools to publicize the show. Flyers are bundled in stacks of 25.
Chaperones
Chaperones are essential for a good show. There have been many wonderful volunteers, but this job still has many days available for helpers and it is a great way to fulfill your volunteer hours. An updated sign will be at rehearsal this weekend so you can easily see which shows still need help as you sign up to help. Or you may send your name, cell phone number and e-mail address with the dates you would like to help out to Aviva Levine at avivalevine@yahoo.com.

Now is the time to start thinking about your tickets for Alice in Wonderland! All seating is assigned, so the earlier you order the wider choice you’ll have and the better your seats will be!

Ticket prices are: $15 for adults; $12 for seniors and $10 for students. There is a $1 service charge per ticket regardless of how you purchase your tickets – online, at the door, or through advance ticket sales.

You still get 50% off registration for our next show for selling 50 tickets or free registration for our next show for 100 tickets…but there’s MORE! And if you sell 100 tickets or more you will receive a ALICE IN WONDERLAND themed basket! There will be some basket samples at upcoming rehearsals!
Headshots – Due this Saturday, October 23rd
If your actor did not take a headshot with the photographer it’s not a problem. Please bring in a 4x6 black and white portrait photo of your actor and place it in the “headshot” folder. All headshots must be turned in by THIS SATURDAY.
Ads – Due this Sunday, October 24th
Don’t forget ask business owners you may know to put an ad in the program. Approximately 2000 people see the program during the run of the show. You can bring a business card or email the ad by THIS SUNDAY , Oct. 24. The ad must either be ready to scan or ready to download. You can email an electronic copy of the ad to bayareaetc@yahoo.com

It is time to have the actors write their bios. Bios should be one paragraph and written in third person. Here are some questions your actor can answer to help them get started on writing their bio: 1. What other plays have you been in? 2. What are some of your favorite past roles? 3. What do you like best about being in this production? 4. What is your favorite thing about acting? 5. In addition to acting, what other activities do you do? 6. Who has influenced you most in your acting and why? 5. Is there anything else that you would like others to know about you? Please send the bios to the bio email address alicebios@yahoo.com no later than THIS SATURDAY October 23. Please do not include actor’s school.
