AUDITIONS 101

July 18th, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

$20 admission fee.  Register online by email to tarzan@bayareaetc.org

Ever wonder how to pick the right song…or what your vocal range really  is? Struggle to find that perfect Monologue?  Feel like you can’t get basic dance steps down?  Then this workshop is for you! You will have time with our Director, Musical Director and Choreographer to go over what it takes to stand out from the crowd. We will cover all the basics for preparing for a great audition.

(This will not cover TARZAN 2015 audition requirements.  This is intended for your overall musical theatric growth and development)

“Who Better Than Me?”  Before you audition, make sure you have just the song and monologue choice that’s right for you! Learn more about each character…so you know which role you want to audition for.  Learn the audition dance so you can show us your amazing moves!  Come and work hands-on with the creative team on preparing for TARZAN 2015  auditions.

You’ve learned what it takes to put on a great audition, found your true vocal range, and learned how to move to an 8 count.  You attended The Wiz workshop and learned the audition dance, heard your song choice played on a piano, recognized the importance of each role for the show.  Now it’s your turn to show us what you have been preparing and practicing.  Its Auditions!
